You probably want a full or high pop server that is dominated by your faction, which means more active guilds/players/ah for you. The AH commodities (mats, consumables etc) is region wide nowadays. Gear you still want a lot of buyers/sellers I guess. Draenor, kazzak are the most populated ones with 95% horde.. Thompson tire and retread inc

Grobbulus is a very good server. Nice balance with good RP, PVP, and PVE guilds. If interested, join horde and look for Wolves and Ravens guild (awesome people that help newcomers level). Frostmourne has essentially the entire alliance player base, Barthilas for the horde.That doesn't mean you won't have fun. If your main goal is raiding, EU-PVP1 may be your best bet. If you don't care about raiding and money making, but rather a 100% positive atmosphere, then the RP servers are your place.
