Combining Zonai Devices with various other building materials allows Link to create a wide variety of contraptions in TOTK. However, some objects are more useful than others when it comes to building such vehicles. Since Totk Ganondorf existed under Hyrule Castle pre-timeline split, he is in all timelines as well and has persisted through the existence and death of at least one other Ganondorf. I'm about 50 hours into TotK and nearly finished with the main quest (I just got the "Destroy Ganondorf" quest), but honestly, I think that BotW is the better game. TotK is a game that's full of stuff to do, but like others have said, there's not necessarily a lot of cohesion..
